Woke up to this this morning, probably about 6-8” or so. Can’t recall a time Cincinnati got this much at one time since I’ve moved here (although I know NW Ohio did once I moved from there). Cleaned off the patio before this and it was still coming down good.
The only downside is our townhouse exit is uphill and has probably a foot of snow from snowplows, which means either no grocery shopping yet today or a full send in the FoST.

I wanted to do snownuts for the dashcam yesterday but it wasn’t consistent enough. If there’s an untouched parking lot on the way to the store, maybe lol

Cincinatti doesn’t get over 6" of snow at a time? That’s a normal snowstorm up here (Boston) and we will occasionally triple that or more for a good one. Although this winter we still haven’t had 1" of snow - I think that’s also setting a record... Plenty of snow to the north of us, and even some that’s passed us by to the south, but we are in the magic dry belt this winter. That and it didn’t really get cold here until this week... we were still out raking leaves in mid December which never happens...

I’ve only been here 6 and a half years. We got more in northern Ohio though. We get more ice here

Huh. I don’t know why I assumed Indiana got as much snow as Ohio and such. I forget sometimes how much north/south those states have, most everything around here is long east to west. A couple of years ago I drove from northern Michigan to Florida and thought I would get past Ohio on my first day driving... no idea what I was in for! At least Ohio was pretty flat...

Here in Dayton we broke the record for most snowfall in a 24 hour period. I checked at one of my water plants and we got just over 9”. It’s an area that gets decent wind though so not sure what the official number is.
